LIVE: Supreme Court hears Donald Trump immunity case
Will the Supreme Court do a better job discussing presidential immunity than they did with Oregon homeless people sleeping on public grounds?
Court adjourned at 11:41 a.m. This argument was much better than the homelessness one . I strongly encourage listening to an archived version.
Up until this week, I have never listened to live Supreme Court discussions. I just read their final opinions after the discussions are made. But earlier this week, after one Supreme Court Justice compared homelessness in Oregon to bank robbers, I’m becoming even more concerned at the delusion level of the conservatives in this group of nine.
I’m hoping the immunity questions aren’t as ridiculous this time around, but Justice Samuel Alito asking about a “bitter opponent” is already leading me to believe this conversation will go downhill too.

For the Oregon case, there were an odd number of questions about pet-owning homeless people, and I still don’t know why dogs became such a popular talking point.

As an Amazon affiliate, I earn a percentage from purchases with my referral links. I know some consumers are choosing to boycott Amazon for its DEI removal. However, after thinking about this thoroughly, I want to continue promoting cool products from small businesses, women-owned businesses and (specifically) Black-owned businesses who still feature their items on Amazon. As of the first date of Black History Month 2025, each new post will ALWAYS include a MINIMUM of one product sold by a Black-owned business. (I have visited the seller’s official site to verify that Amazon Black-owned logo.) I am (slowly) doing this with older, popular posts too. If you still choose to boycott, I 100% respect that decision.

Here’s hoping the immunity discussion doesn’t lead me to more deep sighs.
