Top 7 best quotes from President Joe Biden's interview with Jay Shetty
On Purpose with Jay Shetty: Biden tackles everything from how to handle a bully to a work-life balance
The best thing that has happened to me since leaving Twitter is I started searching for media outlets that helped me learn something instead of regurgitating gossip or listening to topics I already knew too much about. And although I understand why there’s an ongoing debate to “touch grass” and stop staring at a laptop or smartphone all day long, YouTube is one of those social media outlets that helped me to reach this learning goal.
Of course, I use it on a daily basis to do pilates, weight training or dance aerobics, but it’s also been inspiration for financial and developmental goals. For example, at the same time I returned to binge-watching “DIY Creators,” I received an invite to Home Depot’s Seeds program. (I am having a blast installing and testing home products for reviews. I even got a free hanging plant!)

Then, Santrel Media made me finally take more advantage of Upwork projects, which led me to privately being hired for two large projects that paid a few bills. And, as a second-round vegan (and 19-year vegetarian), Yeung Man Cooking and The Nard Dog Cooks have been the reason I stayed on track — and my grocery bill always has something random on it that I’ve never eaten before.

However, I think one of the most slept-on video series (besides “The Pivot Podcast”) that I slept on because I was too busy liking an Instagram post or arguing on Twitter was Jay Shetty’s “On Purpose.” I’ve been a storytelling host and speechwriter for a few years, so a “storyteller” and “virtual content creator” wouldn’t have caught my attention nearly as much as a former monk becoming a podcaster. How YouTube led me to his podcast is anybody’s guess, but I’m on a binge-watching mission!

As an Amazon affiliate, I earn a percentage from purchases with my referral links. I know some consumers are choosing to boycott Amazon for its DEI removal. However, after thinking about this thoroughly, I want to continue promoting cool products from small businesses, women-owned businesses and (specifically) Black-owned businesses who still feature their items on Amazon. As of the first date of Black History Month 2025, each new post will ALWAYS include a MINIMUM of one product sold by a Black-owned business. (I have visited the seller’s official site to verify that Amazon Black-owned logo.) I am (slowly) doing this with older, popular posts too. If you still choose to boycott, I 100% respect that decision.

These are my top seven moments of his interview with President Joe Biden, which not only reminds me of why I voted for him the first time and supported him as former President Barack Obama’s vice president but also why I’m voting for him again. (Quite frankly, I’d vote for Biden’s mother over him though.)
